Hi everyone!

I'm back for day 2! After this, there will only be one more day! I hope you guys liked my previous post. I didn't write a lot, I wanted to show pictures instead! So here it goes!

We went on a ferry to see the statue of Liberty! I was surprise at how small she actually is! Well, she is still very big, but in my head, I was thinking that she was going to be way taller!

After that, we walked on Wall Street. I really like it. I have a thing for old buildings okay..

We also went to see the 9/11 memorial. I didn't want to take any pictures there because the atmosphere was pretty heavy. I felt sad. My friends took some pictures, that you shall see in a moment. It was very hard to be there, where almost 16 years ago, two planes crashed in the towers killing thousands of people. I even debated with myself if I wanted to share these pictures...

From there, we walked all the way to Chinatown and Little Italy. My group of friends decided to go eat in a small restaurant in Little Italy. It is called Lunella Ristorante. It was the best food that I have eaten on the entire trip. We once ate in a place that was so gross... I took to bites out of my sandwich that lunch. To go back to the Italian restaurant, it was amazing! I had spaghetti, and I'm not a fan of spaghetti, at least le spaghetti my family makes, but this one was so so good. After eating, we went shopping in Chinatown. Let's say, I bought a lot of gifts and souvenirs there...

We continued walking and we saw Chelsea Market and we walked on the High Line.

After we finished that, we took a taxi to Time Square. To say the least, I was so scared in the taxi. I kept replaying the movie The Bone Collector with Angelina Jolie and Denzel Washington. Especially when I heard the doors lock. So back to Time Square, we had a Broadway show. We went to see School of Rock. I preferred the Broadway version way better than the movie with Jack Black. My dad loves that movie that every time that it is playing on the tv, he puts it on. I think I've seen it to many times.

And that my friends, is the end of my second day in New York! I was so tired after the show, and our hotel was in New Jersey. It wasn't that long, but I had to wash my hair before going to sleep. I think I slept like for six hours that night and I was so tired on the last day, plus, I haven't slept the previous two night. Well, that's maybe a lie, I did sleep well the night before, but since I was so tired from walking all day, that I pasted out when my head touched my pillow and it was pretty hard to wake up the following morning.

Hope you enjoyed my blog today,

Sarah
